Adverse Weather Arrangements

Centre Opening

 

1. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above

• The Centre will be closed.

• It will remain closed if the signal is lowered less than 2 hours before the normal closing time

   2. Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

• If the signal is issued while the Centre is in service, the normal opening hours will remain unchanged.

• If the signal is issued before the opening hours, the Centre will be closed until the signal is cancelled.

• If the signal is cancelled less than 2 hours before the usual closing time, the Centre will remain closed.

 

Centre Activities​

Programmes for families, children, kindergartens, primary schools, special schools, child centres, elderly centres and other similar organisations (including pre-booked group guided tours)

​

1.  Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above

•  All programmes will be cancelled.

   2.  Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or Red / Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

• Programmes in progress will continue. Programmes not yet commenced will be cancelled.

• If the signal is lowered 3 hours before the programme commences, the programme will proceed as scheduled.

Programmes for the public, secondary schools, post-secondary schools and other similar organisations (including pre-booked group guided tours)

 

1. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above

•  All programmes will be cancelled.

•  If the signal is lowered 3 hours before the programme commences, the programme will proceed as scheduled.

 

   2. Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

• Programmes in progress will continue. Programmes not yet commenced will be cancelled.

• ​If the signal is lowered 3 hours before the programme commences, the programme will proceed as scheduled. 

 

   3. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal

• Programmes will proceed as scheduled.
